Chocolate Spider Webs
Ingredients:
1 cup (200g) semisweet chocolate chips
Pretzel sticks
Candy eyes (optional)
Sprinkles
Instructions:
Melt the Chocolate:
Put the chocolate chips In a heatproof bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Let cool slightly.
Create the Webs:
Pour the chocolate into a piping bag or a plastic bag with a corner cut off. On a parchment or waxed paper lined baking sheet, lay out the pretzels like the photo above. Pipe out circular spider webs, creating a central point with lines radiating outward.
Add Spiders (Optional):
Once the webs are set, you can make small spiders using pretzel sticks for legs. Melt a small amount of chocolate and use it to attach the pretzel legs to small dollops of ganache. Place candy eyes on top.
Chill:
Refrigerate the chocolate webs until firm.
Tips:
You can add edible glitter or sprinkles to your spider webs for extra flair.
For a more dramatic effect, use white chocolate for the webs and dark chocolate for the spiders. You can also sprinkle on some nonpareil sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
